Heath Franklin is a veteran producer, director, cinematographer and gaffer in the narrative motion picture, documentary film, non scripted, promo, corporate and commercial arenas.

Heath made his feature film narrative directing debut with Black Balsam which he also co-wrote.  He also co-wrote the narrative feature COVID Blues.  He has produced more than a dozen feature films starring Oscar, Emmy and Tony winners distributed across the globe.

 

His cinematography credits include the Lionsgate feature film The Penthouse (Michael Pare/Nick Turturro) as well as a national spot for Lending Tree and a widely distributed Game of Thrones/Mountain Dew promo featuring Joel Embiid, a promo for Credit One as well as dozens of commercials.  He has lit numerous shoots including the HBO doc 'McMillions', Discovery Channel's Season 10 promo for 'Street Outlaws', promos for Nationwide, Fifth Thirds Bank, the music videos 'Those Days' by Foxfire Run and Roland Lewis's 'Wait' as well as non scripted shows such as Lifetime's 'Married at First Sight' and CMT's upcoming 'Racing Wives'.

 

 

Heath is also an FAA licensed UAV pilot with more than 1,000 hours flight time.
